BACOLOD City – Police arrested a person under monitoring for coronavirus disease 2019 in Barangay Cayhagan, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
Resident Amir Ferrer, 44, allegedly shouted expletives and threw a mug to 61-year-old barangay health worker Februarita Sarol, a police report showed.
Prior to the incident, Ferrer was
drinking coffee in a cafeteria outside his house and was reminded by Sarol that
he should be under home quarantine.
Ferrer got irked and attacked Sarol around 11 a.m. on April 22, it added.
The suspect was detained in the
custodial facility of the Sipalay City police station, facing charges./PN
