BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man charged with murder and rape in Barangay Cabadiangan, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
The 22-year-old Joren Himaya, a resident of the village, was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 10 a.m. on Jan. 18, police said.
Judge Edwin Gomez of Regional Trial Court Branch 37 in Sipalay City issued the warrant and set no bail.
