BACOLOD City – A man was hacked in his house in Barangay Zone 12-A, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Marcelo Flores, 59, sustained a stab wound on the face. He was rushed to the Talisay City Health Clinic but later transferred to the Teresita Jalandoni Memorial Provincial Hospital in Silay City.
Willy Barros allegedly attacked him on Monday.
Flores’ wife Ma. Ana told the police the suspect threw a stone at their house while they were eating dinner. Flores went outside to check but failed to see the charging Barros, who was armed with a cane cutter, police said.
