ILOILO City – Policemen of Estancia, Iloilo seized 27 sachets of suspected shabu valued at P60,000 in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion Zone 1.
The 28-year-old Denden Marfil, a resident of Roxas City, was arrested around 2 p.m. on Feb. 23, police said.
He allegedly sold two sachets of the prohibited substance to an undercover officer for P4,000.
Marfil was detained in the lockup cell of the Estancia police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him./PN
