ILOILO CITY – A rumble between two groups of people in Barangay Paloc-Sool, Dumangas, Iloilo left a resident wounded.
The 23-year-old Joepet Divinagracia sustained a stab wound on the waist, police said.
Nicole John Dineros, a resident of Barangay Burgos-Regidor, was tagged the suspect.
According to police investigation, the rumble ensued when the group of Divinagracia came across the group of Dineros around 1 a.m. yesterday.
Divinagracia tried to pacify the commotion but he got stabbed, police said.
The victim was brought to the Ramon D. Duremdes District Hospital in the town for treatment.
Dineros, on the other hand, fled after the incident./PN
