ILOILO City – Police arrested a wanted man in San Enrique, Iloilo.
The 44-year-old Charlie Hautea was caught in Barangay Sinikway, Lapuz district yesterday, a police report showed.
Hautea was charged with violation of Republic Act 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.
Policemen of San Enrique and Iloilo City Police Station 2 arrested the suspect around 6:30 a.m. by virtue of an arrest warrant.
Hautea was brought to the San Enrique police station.
A P72,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
