ILOILO City – A man was fatally shot by an unidentified gunman in Barangay Alibayog, Sara, Iloilo.
The 38-year-old Roel Aspera died of gunshot wounds on the head and body, a police report showed.
He was inside his sari-sari store when the assassin peppered him with bullets around 4:20 p.m. on Nov. 12, the report added.
The victim’s younger sister, Jennylyn, was hit on the waist and right knee. She received medical treatment.
The attacker then boarded a motorcycle and sped away.
Officers of the Sara police station have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the incident./PN
