ILOILO City – A senior citizen drowned yesterday in Barangay Talusan, Dumangas, Iloilo.
Jonas Balarito, 72, was a resident of Barangay Baclayan, New Lucena, Iloilo.
Police said the victim went swimming with friends around 11:40 a.m. He was spotted by other guests floating dead 30 minutes later.
Balarito died at the Ramon D. Duremdes District Hospital in Dumangas./PN
