BACOLOD City – A senior citizen and a person with disability (PWD) died in separate road crashes in Ilog, Negros Occidental and Bayawan City, Negros Oriental.
A car hit Anacleto Catacata, 83, of Barangay Calubang, Ilog while the latter was crossing the road around noon on April 8.
The vehicle sped away, the Ilog police said.
In Bayawan City, a PWD (deaf-mute) was biking when a motorcycle hit the bicycle.
Julieto Arson, 39, of Sitio Polompong, Barangay Narra, Bayawan City died on the spot on April 7.
The motorcycle driver, 35-year-old Eugene Calago, turned himself in to the police./PN
