BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu and firearms with ammunitions were seized in two separate buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental.
In Barangay 13, Victorias City, police caught Clarence Arcenio, a resident of Barangay 2 here, on July 7.
The suspect initially sold a sachet to an undercover cop for P300, police said.
When frisked, he further yielded a 12-gauge homemade pistol loaded with several ammunitions.
On the other hand, 21-year-old Tryx Kssbyll Majarucon was arrested in Barangay Zone 2, Cadiz City, around 1:52 p.m. on July 7.
Recovered from Majarucon were 10 sachets of suspected shabu and an improvised shotgun (sulpak) loaded with a bullet.
Both suspects were detained their respective police stations. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) would be filed against them./PN
