BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu worth an estimated P30,000 was recovered in drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Concepcion, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The suspected drugs contained in 15 sachets were confiscated from the 55-year-old resident Noel Malan, a newly identified drug personality, a police report showed.
Malan was caught around 12:30 p.m. on Monday after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P500, the report added.
Aside from the suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, a cellular phone and P670 cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug transactions were confiscated from Malan, police said.
Malan was detained at the Talisay City police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
