BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man charged with rape in Barangay 4, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The 23-year-old Jevie Mabate of Barangay Villamonte in this city was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant around 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 21, a police report showed.
Judge Dyna Doll Chiongson-Trocio of the Regional Trial Court Branch 40 ordered Mabate’s arrest and set no bail.
The suspect was taken to the Silay City police station./PN
