BACOLOD City – Police arrested a rape suspect in Hacienda Macamig 1, Barangya E. Lopez, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Silay City police head Superintendent Noel Polines identified the suspect as the 28-year-old resident Gerald Lapu-os.
Lapu-os was caught around 10 a.m. on Wednesday on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Ana Celeste Bernad of the Regional Trial Court Branch 69 in Silay City issued on May 7.
He was detained at the Silay City police station lockup facility.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
