BACOLOD City – Misunderstanding led to the death of a man in Barangay Cansalongon, Isabela, Negros Occidental, police said.
The man was identified as the 19-year-old resident Junval Savillo, a police report showed.
Savillo sustained a stab wound on the back, the report further stated.
According to the police, the 33-year-old Berni Abrenica had a hand in the stabbing which happened on Thursday.
Savillo and Abrenica were having a drinking binge when altercation ensued, the police added.
Isabela police have yet to arrest Abrenica as of this writing./PN
