BACOLOD City – A laborer from Barangay Manlucahoc, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental survived another attempt on his life.
The 49-year-old William Bucar was stabbed six years ago by neighbor Terry Cati-an, 40, a police report showed.
Cati-an once again threatened Bucar’s life by shooting him on the neck around 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 23, police said.
The Sipalay City rescue team brought Bucar to the city’s Satellite Health Unit for treatment.
Investigation showed that Bucar and his wife were preparing dinner when Cati-an suddenly appeared in their kitchen wielding a gun of unknown caliber.
Police were still locating Cati-an and determining the motive in the shooting./PN
