BACOLOD City – A man was not as lucky as another in an accident on a national road in Barangay Mambaroto, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
Albert Abanilla was driving a motorcycle when another motorcycle, driven by Rene Boy Taglocop, bumped into him around 7:15 p.m. on Sept. 2, a police report showed.
Abanilla and Taglocop fell on the concrete road and were rushed to a clinic in Sipalay City.
Taglocop was pronounced “dead on arrival” while Abanilla was injured.
Abanilla was later transferred to a hospital in this city.
Investigation revealed that Taglocop was on the wrong side of the lane./PN
