BACOLOD City – Two women were arrested after selling shabu to an undercover police officer on Magsaysay Street, Barangay Zone 3, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the suspects as 34-year-old Hazel Batuigas and Lorina Trazo, 33.
Batuigas and Trazo were caught around 8 p.m. on Saturday, a police report showed.
The operation was staged by the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Cadiz City police station led by Senior Inspector Alfred Garcia.
Two sachets of shabu, P500 marked money, drug paraphernalia, P470 cash, and a cellphone were confiscated from the suspects.
They were detained and facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
