BACOLOD City – A 16-year-old native of Sibugay, Zamboanga was stabbed dead on Sunday in Barangay Granada in this city.
The victim, whose identity was withheld, visited a friend in the barangay.
Police said the victim was with another 15-year-old boy.
Investigation showed that the two were waiting outside their friend’s house when a man approached and stabbed them.
The 16-year-old boy was rushed to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital and died around 3 a.m. on Monday.
Police identified the suspect as Rolando Carillo, 21, of Barangay 3, Bacolod City.
According to Carillo, he did not know what he was doing since he was drunk./PN
