BACOLOD City – After allegedly stabbing a man, a resident of Barangay Tabu, Ilog, Negros Occidental was arrested over the weekend.
The 28-year-old Elester Paul Pallares was collared in a “hot pursuit” operation conducted by the Ilog police force.
He was accused of stabbing Junmar Solidum, 28, also a resident of the village, during an altercation around 10:15 p.m. on Nov. 28.
Solidum sustained stab wounds on the body. He was rushed to the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital for treatment.
The suspect, meanwhile, was detained at the police station, facing charges./PN
