BACOLOD City – A theft suspect was arrested in a drug bust on Saturday in Barangay 14 here.
Senior Inspector Leo Estopa, commander of Police Station 1, identified the suspect as Joven Japitana, 25, a resident of the place.
Estopa said Japitana has a pending complaint in the station for theft.
During the operation, police also arrested Liner Dela Cruz who is allegedly the companion of Japitana.
Recovered from the possession of Japitana were two plastic sachets of suspected shabu, tooter, lighter and marked money.
Dela Cruz, on the other hand, yielded drug paraphernalia, police said./PN
