ILOILO City – Lorenzo Bobillo was accused of stealing a mobile phone.
He also yielded shabu when police officers caught him on Wednesday at the poblacion in Bugasong, Antique.
The 42-year-old native of Binalbagan, Negros Occidental was detained at the Bugasong police station, a police report showed.
Marilyn Dacliton, 31, of Barangay Ilaures, Bugasong told the police she was walking at the public plaza in the town when Bobillo stole her mobile phone.
Officers ran after the suspect when Dacliton called for help, police said.
Dacliton’s mobile phone and two sachets of shabu were recovered from Bobillo’s pocket.
Theft and drug possession charges may be filed against the suspect, said the police./PN
