ROXAS City – A man fatally hacked another in Barangay Cambuaranan, Tapaz, Capiz.
The 30-year-old Perfecto Advincula attacked resident Amil Galagate, 22, using a bolo at around 12 midnight on Sunday, a police report showed.
Advincula – a resident of Tacloban, Leyte – temporarily resides in the village and owns a store there.
He fled after the incident but officers form the Tapaz police station arrested him.
Galagate was buying liquor from Advincula’s store when the latter attacked him, police said.
Advincula said Galagate has thrown stones at his store prior to the hacking, an allegation that Galagate’s family denied.
Advincula was detained at the Tapaz police station lockup facility and facing a murder charge, police said./PN
