BACOLOD City – While watching a cockfight on Monday in Sitio Calapnusan, Barangay Lalong, Calatrava town, a drug suspect was shot dead by an unidentified man.
Principles Bayarcal Vicera, the town’s No. 1 drug suspect, sustained gunshot wounds on his body. He died on the spot.
The suspect immediately fled after the incident.
Vicera was the same person who threatened Jeremias Diotay, the village chief of Barangay Minapasok, a few months ago.
He is also the suspect of several killings in the barangay.
The police are still trying to identify the suspect as of this writing./PN
