ROXAS City – Two persons died in separate road accidents involving motorcycles here and in Dumalag, Capiz.
In the first accident, the fatality was 23-year-old Jhon Michael Gellada of Barangay Culasi, Roxas City.
Around 9 a.m. on March 2, the motorcycle-driving Gellada crashed against the rear of a truck along the highway in Barangay Culasi.
Gellada died at a hospital in Roxas City due to severe head and body injuries.
The truck driver, 32-year-old Junjun Caro of Barangay Himoga-an Baybay, Sagay City, Negros Occidental but temporarily residing in Barangay Bayoyan, Estancia, Iloilo, turned himself in to the Roxas City police station.
The other motorcycle accident happened in Dumalag, Capiz and killed Rex Castro. Witnesses said he lost control of his vehicle.
Castro was bound for Sitio Ayuyan, Barangay Santo Anghel from Barangay Poblacion when his motorcycle crashed./PN
