BACOLOD City – A man was hacked in Barangay Paloma, Valladolid, Negros Occidental.
He was 23-year-old resident Roldan Locario, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as 48-year-old resident Reymond Dolor.
According to police investigators, Dolor hacked Locario using a bolo around 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 25.
Locario sustained hack wounds on the ear and the neck, the investigators added.
He was brought to the Valladolid District Hospital but was later transferred to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City for medical treatment.
The motive in the incident was not immediately established.
Dolor voluntarily surrendered to authorities. He was detained in the custodial facility of the Valladolid municipal police station./PN
