BACOLOD City – Wristwatches and cellphones, among others, were taken by a burglar who barged into a house in Gardenville Subdivision in Barangay Tangub.
Police were still trying to identify and catch the culprit as of this writing.
A police report showed that resident Eric Solivio lost the following items:
* two wristwatches worth P9,000
* a cellphone worth P12,000
* a pair of shoes worth P2,500
* a power bank worth P500
* two pocket-sized internet routers worth P2,400
* P1,000 cash
Initial investigation showed the burglary happened around 4 a.m. on Saturday.
The suspect climbed up the chicken-wire fence, burned a fine screen of a window next to the main door using a lighter, and opened the door by reaching for the inside lock from outside, Police Station 8 said./PN
