ROXAS City – Police have yet to identify the suspects in shooting a man who was found dead in the boundary of Barangay Cayus and Barangay Olalo in Pilar, Capiz.
Residents alerted the police after discovering the body of the 40-year-old Barangay Olalo resident Jimmy Pastrana on Monday.
Pastrana’s body – riddled with multiple gunshot wounds – was found around 100 meters away from his motorcycle, police said.
According to investigators, two or more suspects were responsible for attacking the homebound victim on Sunday evening.
Recovered from the crime scene were four empty shells of a 12-gauge shotgun and three empty shells of a .45-caliber pistol, added the investigators.
Police were still determining the motive in the shooting./PN
