KALIBO, Aklan – Village officials and the police are searching for the culprits in stabbing three cows in Barangay Tinigaw.

Anyone who could give information that will lead to the arrest of the suspects will be given P10,000 cash.

Residents found the three cows, owned by Francisco Tolentino, with bleeding stab wounds on Feb. 15.

“Whoever was responsible should be arrested,” stressed Barangay Captain Rolando Reyes Sr. “They must be caught before they act again.”

On social media, users described the attack as “animal cruelty.”

“No animal, no innocent person is safe if they continue and remain at large,” one comment stated.

Anyone with information on the suspects is encouraged to call the Kalibo police station at 166 or the Tinigaw barangay hall at 09399167066.

In another story, police arrested four men who allegedly stole three fighting cocks in Barangay Mambog, Banga town on Feb. 17.

Caught were Junmark Agudis, 21; Gerry Agudis, 19, and Carlos Agudis, 18, of Barangay Dalagsaan, Libacao, and their uncle Miguel Agudis, 22, of Barangay Poblacion, also in Libacao. (With Aklan Forum Journal/PN)
