BACOLOD City – Police Station 8 have yet to identify and catch the suspect in shooting an 18-year-old resident of Barangay Tangub.
All they know about him is that he is known as “Small,” said the station chief Senior Inspector Wilfredo Benoman Jr.
The victim, Mark June Arca, was shot in the neck on Tuesday.
He was taken to the South Bacolod General Hospital and Medical Center.
Arca was walking with friends when “Small” appeared and shot the former using a still unidentified firearm, investigation showed.
The suspect fled after the shooting.
Police were looking into “gang conflict” as possible motive./PN
