BACOLOD City – Two residents of Barangay Dancalan, Ilog, Negros Occidental landed in hospitals after attacking each other.
Abundio Redoble, 27, was brought to the Dr. Gumersindo Garcia Sr. Memorial Hospital while Marlon Villarobi, 19, was taken to the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital, all in Kabankalan City, police said.
A heated argument ensued between the two, who were both intoxicated, on Wednesday, said the Ilog police station.
Redoble was about to get in his house when Villarobi – armed with a cane cutter – charged at him and hacked him on the head twice.
Redoble fought back, stabbing the suspect with an unidentified bladed weapon on the chest twice, police said./PN
