BACOLOD City – Charged with estafa, a woman was arrested in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The 49-year-old Melanie Antiporda of Barangay Zone 5, Talisay City, Negros Occidental was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Raymund Joseph Javier of the Regional Trial Court Branch 60 in Cadiz City Aug. 12, 2016.
Antiporda was detained.
The court recommended a P40,000 bail bond for her temporary liberty.
The arrest was staged by the Cadiz City police led by Chief Inspector Rocky Desear./PN
