ILOILO City – A 29-year-old jobless man tagged as the No. 10 most wanted person in Zambales was arrested at Pueblo de Panay Terminal in Barangay Lawaan, Roxas City, at around 3:55 p.m. on Sunday, December 14.
Alias “Nonoy,” a native of Sta. Cruz, Zambales, is facing charges for robbery with violence against or intimidation of a person.
Joint operatives of the Roxas City Police Station and the Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station based in Zambales apprehended the suspect by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued at 3rd Judicial Region in Sta. Cruz, Candelaria, Zambales, dated November 20, 2025.
As of press time, the suspect was under the custody of Roxas City Police Station pending turnover to the court concerned.
“Pinupuri ko ang ating kapulisan sa matagumpay na pagkakaaresto sa isang most wanted person mula sa ibang rehiyon. Ang operasyong ito ay patunay ng matibay na ugnayan at koordinasyon ng kapulisan sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa. Ipinapakita nito na walang hangganan ang pagpapatupad ng batas at walang sinuman ang makakatakas sa pananagutan,” said Police Regional Office 6 director Brigadier Josefino D. Ligan.
