BACOLOD City – Police arrested two persons in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Banago.
Thirteen sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P170,000 were seized from Reynaldo Ponteras Jr. and Eugene Sotto – all residents of the village, a police report showed.
Their alleged cohort Vivian Diaz meanwhile managed to evade arrest.
Officers of the City Drug Enforcement Unit staged the sting operation around 4:45 p.m. on May 30.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 3, while a manhunt operation was conducted against Diaz who remains at large as of this writing./PN
