BACOLOD City – Two motorists were killed in a road accident in Barangay Salong, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 53-year-old Larry Fernando, a village councilman of Barangay Inapoy, Kabankalan City and 19-year-old Ferdinand Tanguar of Barangay 2, Kabankalan City died of head and body injuries, police said.
According to police investigators, Fernando and Tanguar were navigating the road in opposite directions when their motorcycles crashed against each other around 8 a.m. on May 30.
Fernando and Tanguar were rushed to the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City where they later expired./PN
