ILOILO City – Two drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bolilao, Mandurriao district.
Eight sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P15,000 were seized from John Kirby Dedal and Marilag Gilbuena Jr., a police report showed.
The suspects – both residents of the village – were caught after they sold a sachet of suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P5,000 around 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 1, the report added.
They were detained in the lockup cell of the Mandurriao police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
