BACOLOD City – Two young men were injured in separate stabbings yesterday.
Bernie Eramis, a 20-year-old resident of Murcia, Negros Occidental, did not know why Jessi Jarder, 27, of Barangay 27 attacked him.
Eramis was dancing while a band performs on a stage at the Capitol Lagoon when stabbed, investigation showed. He was wounded on the lower lip.
Jarder allegedly used a broken beer bottle.
He was detained in the Police Station 2 lockup cell but not before resisting arrest and punching on the right eye Police Officer 1 Rodel Barayoga, one of the responding officers, said Police Station 2.
Meanwhile the 22-year-old Jason Bayson of Barangay 3 also reported to Police Station 2 that he was stabbed. He was unable to identify his attacker.
Both Eramis and Bayson were taken to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital./PN
