BACOLOD City – A resident of Jovita Street, Barangay 40 was beaten to death.
William Uy, 57, was attacked while walking in Purok Gonzaga, Barangay Taculing around 12:50 p.m. on Saturday.
Suspect Alfred Paul Octava, 23, of Barangay Taculing used a piece of wood, police investigation revealed. He was detained in Police Station 6 lockup cell.
It was not immediately clear what the motive was./PN
