ILOILO City – Three men were attacked and robbed on Sen. Benigno Aquino Sr. Avenue (Diversion Road), Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao district.
They were Don, Justin and Mark Lloyd — all surnamed Jucaban and aged 19, 18 and 28, respectively. Justin and Mark Lloyd were brothers, while Don was their cousin. They were residents of Jaro district.
They were on board a public utility jeepney around 3:15 a.m. on Thursday when a group of unidentified men engaged them in an altercation, which led to physical attacks.
Don and Mark Lloyd sustained cuts and bruises on the head.
Justin, meanwhile, found several of his valuables missing after the fight: a wallet with P6,000 cash, a cap and a pair of slippers.
They were taken to the Iloilo Mission Hospital in Jaro.
The hospital security guard reported what happened to the Mandurriao police station.
Investigation continues. Police were still trying to identify the suspects as of this writing./PN
