ILOILO City – Three fishermen were nabbed for the alleged illegal fishing in the territorial waters of Barangay Sua, San Dionisio, Iloilo.
They were Rodolfo Bantiling, 18; Joel Pora, 43; and Omar Alberio, 49, all residents of Barangay Tanao, Batad, Iloilo.
Onboard the “Yenyen” motorboat, the suspects were caught fishing without permit around 11:40 a.m. on April 24, police said.
They were liable for violation of municipal ordinance No. 12-03 Section 74, or fishing without permit./PN
