ILOILO City – Police chanced upon three persons engaging in illegal gambling in Barangay Agcuyawan Calsada, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo on Monday.
Recovered from them around 5:30 p.m. were P175 bet money and a deck of playing cards.
The suspects, Ma. Theresa Dumancas, Cherry Dosano and Emelie Benajera, were taken to the municipal police station. Charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602 that outlaws illegal gambling would be filed against them./PN
