BACOLOD City – Three quarantine violators yielded suspected shabu in Barangay San Juan, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
They were Rhodney Alqueza, and brothers Warlito and Jerry Boy Villadar – all residents of Barangay 6, San Carlos City, a police report showed.
Police officers conducting coastal patrol chanced upon the suspects onboard a motorized banca not wearing face masks on April 24. The suspects also failed to show quarantine passes, a police report showed.
When frisked, they yielded suspected illegal drugs valued at around P50,000.
Detained in the lockup cell of the San Carlos City police station, the suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and for violation of Executive Order No. 20-20, series of 2020./PN
