ILOILO City – The motorcycle he was riding crashed against a delivery van in Barangay Macatol, Pototan, Iloilo.
The 63-year-old Rodrigo Velasco of Barangay Ubang, Pototan died of head and body injuries, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, the crash happened around 11:30 a.m. on April 25.
The eastbound motorcycle suddenly swerved to the opposite lane with the driver not seeing the incoming van driven by Marlon Andrada of Ivisan, Capiz.
Velasco was rushed to a nearby hospital where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
The suspect meanwhile was taken to the Pototan police station, facing charges./PN
