2 men lose wallets

ILOILO City – Two men reported to the police station in Jaro district that they lost their wallets containing vital identification cards and cash.

Jose Marcon, 54, was a resident of Barangay Buhang, Jaro while Randy Victoriano, 29, was a taxi driver from Barangay Rizal, La Paz, a police report showed.

Victoriano told the police his black wallet went missing on Monday while according to Marcon, he lost his last Saturday.

He just arrived at the Forbes Taxi garage in Barangay Tabuc Suba, Jaro at around 8 a.m. on April 9 when he noticed that his wallet was gone, Victoriano said.

Placed inside the right back pocket of his jeans, the wallet may have slipped without him noticing while he was driving to the garage on board his motorcycle, he said.

The wallet, he said, contained his professional driver’s license, Social Security System ID, Pag-IBIG ID, PhilHealth ID, official receipt/certificate of registration of his motorcycle, and around P200 cash.

Victoriano said he tried to look for the wallet but to no avail.

Marcon, on the other hand, told the police his black wallet contained his professional driver’s license, P300 cash, and “important documents.”

He said he placed his wallet at the back pocket of his short pants but this may have slipped unnoticed when he was on his way home.

Marcon said he discovered that it was gone at around 7:30 p.m. on April 7./PN
