ILOILO City – Eight persons including three minors were injured in a vehicular accident in Barangay Barangay Lapuz Norte, Lapuz district.
They were Lowel Andraneda, Godofredo Ratone, Jewelyn Gamlanga and her one-year-old son Bryan, Jeline Gange and her three-month-old son Liam, and Junelyn Manikan with her 11-year-old son Daniel.
The victims were brought to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.
According to the police, the eight were onboard a tricycle around 10 a.m. on July 21 when a truck hit their vehicle from behind.
The truck driver, Artemio Molo of Barangay Mansaya, Lapuz, was taken to the La Paz police station./PN
