ILOILO City – A laborer was arrested in Barangay Lumaynay, Altavas, Aklan. He was tagged in the stabbing of a construction worker.

Alex Hilario, 25, was taken to the Altavas police station on Tuesday.

Police, meanwhile, identified the stabbing victim as 29-year-old Jury Tulio, also of Barangay Lumaynay.

Tulio and Hilario had a heated argument around 1 p.m. prior to the stabbing, police said.

Tulio was taken to the Altavas District Hospital for a stab wound on his left hand.

It was unclear as of this writing if Tulio would be filing a criminal complaint against his friend Hilario./PN
