BACOLOD City – An architect was found dead in a cemetery in Barangay Rizal, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental. He was believed to have committed suicide.
San Carlos City police were still investigating the death of the 44-year-old Hans Christian de Victoria of Barangay 2, San Carlos City.
Case investigator Senior Police Officer 1 Wilfredo Camanal said de Victoria sustained a gunshot wound on the chest.
San Carlos Memorial Park caretaker discovered de Victoria’s body at the tombs of his grandparents around 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
A .45-caliber firearm loaded with five live bullets and an empty shell was found beside de Victoria, Camanal said.
