ILOILO City – Charged with attempted murder, a 66-year-old man was nabbed.
Elpedio Esman had been hiding from the police in Antique province for about four years.
He was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant in Barangay Bambang, Pasig City on Dec. 7, a police report showed.
Officers of the Pasig City police station served the warrant issued by Judge Nery Duremdes of the Regional Trial Court Branch 11.
The suspect was set to be transferred to the municipal police station of Sibalom, Antique this week.
The court recommended a P120,000 a bail bond of for his temporary liberty./PN
