ILOILO City – A man was arrested for allegedly trying to rape his daughter in Barangay Cano-an, Estancia, Iloilo.
The 44-year-old Rafie Banico was caught around 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 13, a police report showed.
Banico’s apprehension came after his daughter reported to the Estancia police station.
When frisked, Banico yielded a .38-caliber revolver. The weapon was confiscated after he failed to present its license.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station, facing charges./PN
