Bacolod City – A woman was killed in a road crash in Barangay Tangub.
The 74-year-old resident Nelia Bo-oc died of injuries on the body, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, Bo-oc was walking on the road when a public utility jeepney driven by 34-year-old Arnold Villarta of Bago City, Negros Occidental crashed against her around 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 12.
Bo-oc died on the spot, police said.
Villarta was detained in the custodial facility of Police Station 8, facing charges./PN
