ILOILO City – A 54-year-old man was stabbed to death in Barangay Cabanga-an, Badiangan, Iloilo.
Resident Nelvin Acopio sustained stabbed wounds on the body, a police report showed.
Tagged suspect was Francis John Nobleza of Barangay Tamocol, Badiangan.
According to police investigators, Acopio and Nobleza’s uncle had a heated argument during a drinking session around 9 p.m. on Aug. 6.
This prompted Nobleza to stab Acopio using a bladed weapon.
Acopio was rushed to the Janiuay District Hospital where he later died.
Officers of the Badiangan municipal police station have yet to arrest the suspect, who fled after the incident./PN
